Zeal Hotels opened its first hotel, The Holiday Inn Express, Bridgwater in May 2019.
To promote local suppliers, Zeal teamed up with a local gin distillery E18hteen Gin to create ‘Zeal Gin’ in time for the opening of the hotel.
Zeal Gin is a handcrafted London Dry Gin (40%) with the fresh taste of oranges and lime. The distinctive flavour is fused from Seville’s finest oranges alongside the zesty taste of time.
Following the success of Zeal Gin we embarked on creating another unique premium gin based on an entirely different palate.
Musketeer Gin (30%) is a spiced cinnamon & orange flavoured gin, sweet tasting with a hint of cinnamon. It is so good you don’t even need a tonic - just ice and slice.
Our second hotel – The 144 bed Ibis hotel along with a Keepers Bar & Restaurant will also stock the Zeal & Musketeer Gins and this is scheduled to open in Jan 2021.
For a long time the Zeal & Musketeer Gins were exclusively produced for and sold in our hotel. Due to so many enquiries for wider distribution, we are excited to finally be able to sell our premium gins through this online store.
The Hotels
The 138-bedroom Holiday Inn Express hotel opened in May 2019 and is proving popular with the leisure and business guests. Located off J24 of the M5 motorway it is very accessible and guests benefit from free car parking & a free breakfast as standard!

The 144-bedroom Ibis hotel is scheduled to open in January 2021 and will incorporate a Keepers Restaurant & Bar. Located off J23 of the M5 motorway this hotel is adjacent to the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre and will appeal to the business & leisure markets alike.
